Ask us to delete your account.

Fill in the form below and we will open a ticket with the iPay support desk. Use the same form for a complaint or anything else — pick the category that fits. You do not need to sign in.

Submit a ticket

Three fields, one ticket.

Your registered mobile number tells us which account to look at, the category routes the ticket to the right desk, and the message gives us the detail.

  • Use your registered number

We match the request to the account it belongs to before acting on it, so use the mobile number your iPay account is registered with.

  • Two business days

Tickets are reviewed Sunday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm. We reply on your registered number, usually within two business days.

  • Kept confidential

What you send goes straight to the support desk at support@ipay.com.bd. Nothing is published, and we never ask for your PIN or OTP.

After you submit

What happens next.

Deleting a payment account is not instant — there are checks we owe you and checks the regulator owes everyone. Here is the sequence.

  1. 01

    We confirm it is you

Support calls or texts the registered mobile number on the ticket to make sure the request really came from the account holder.

  2. 02

    We settle the balance

Any remaining wallet balance has to be withdrawn or transferred out, and open disputes closed, before an account can be deleted.

  3. 03

    We close and delete

The account is closed and your personal data is removed, except the records Bangladesh Bank requires us to keep. You get a confirmation on your mobile.

Your data

What gets deleted, what has to stay.

We would rather be straight with you about the parts we cannot erase, and why.

Deleted

  • Your profile — name, date of birth, address, photo and email address.
  • Your KYC documents and the selfie captured at sign-up.
  • Saved payees, billers, cards and bank accounts linked to the wallet.
  • Device identifiers, push tokens and your app activity history.

Retained by law

  • Transaction records, which Bangladesh Bank's AML/CFT rules require every payment service provider to keep for five years after your last transaction.
  • Records tied to an open dispute, chargeback or law-enforcement request, until that matter is closed.
  • Anonymised, aggregated statistics that can no longer be linked back to you.

Retained records are locked down and used only to meet those legal obligations. Full detail is in our privacy policy and compliance pages.
